The Pioneer Day celebration in Bountiful was held on the 23rd this year. It was hot and tiring, but fun still. Nigel had fun on the swings, rode a train, ate cotton candy and threw up. The perfect carnival day.

Mom handed Nigel his ticket, and all by himself, he took and presented it to the attendant and was placed on the ride. He had a great time, and was the youngest child riding.
Dad arrived in the evening, after work, and the whole family went to see the Bountiful Pioneer Day Parade. Grammy, Aunt Brooks, Cyruss and Trinidee were there, but Cyruss wasn't feeling well, so he didn't come to the parade. The parade had tractors, floats, horses and ponies, lots of kids marching and dancing, bands playing music, clowns (including one on a little go-kart), and big trucks. Nigel particularly like the go-kart and the dancing.
