Nigel has talked many times about what he wants to be when he grows up. His answer typically follows this general form:
"On Sundays, I want to be a... . On Mondays, I want to be a... . On Tuesdays, I want to be a... ."
He usually has two to four things he wants to be, and almost always wants to be a nurse at Mom's hospital on one of the first days. Doctor, astronaut and builder appear on his list frequently, and computer fixer sometimes, though he doesn't really understand just what it is Dad does.
Today, while on the way to school, he and Dad were talking about what Uncle Brian does for work (he is a carpenter, specializing in commercial framing). Nigel said he wants to build a monster truck when he grows up, figuring that because big trucks are larger, they also go faster than cars. He wants his monster truck to go 102 miles per hour, "As fast as a jolly-pilly-lollypop!"
