Dad really likes driving around in the snow, especially when it involves sliding. Nigel enjoys that, too, and they have talked about how the snow tires in the 9-5 car grip much better and slide much less in the snow than the all-season tires in the 9-3 car.
Dad and Nigel went sledding in Liberty Park one evening during a great snow storm, and on the way out, they were slaloming back and forth on the wide, flat, empty parking loop that encircles the park, having a great time. The next day, Mom and Nigel had the following conversation.
Mom: Look, Nigel. A snow plow.
Nigel: Now Dad can't have fun in the snow. He likes to slide around. We should put up a no plows sign.
